Texture & Photo Sources
A collection of sources for images to use in edits, themes, and any other graphics. All free to use sources that aren't just full of reposts. No A/I dominated sites, though some larger sites may have some due to people submitting it.
Texturelabs - A collection of various textures and vectors which are free to use. Also has photoshop actions and brushes.
Public Domain Image Archive - What it says on the tin, a curated collection of public domain images. Has a lot of illustrations and museum images.
Unsplash - A stock image site with both free and premium images.
Wikimedia Commons - A vast vast collection of public domain images. The quality can vary drastically as anyone can contribute to thecommons. Also has sounds, videos, and 3D models.
Pexels - Public domain stock images and video. Has a lot of nice looking stuff.
NASA Image Library - Images, audio, and video made by NASA. Almost exclusively space related given the source.
Europeana - Images, audio, video, and pdfs all connected to European cultures. When searching do check the "Can I use this" filters, though most things are freely available to use.
Library of Congress - Public domain images including historical photos, artwork, vintage advertising, and more.
Kaboompics - More nice stock photos.
Isorepublic - Public domain stock images and video.
New Old Stock - Vintage public domain images.
Age Without Limits - Stock photos focused around 50+ folk to combat stereotyping.
Nappy - Stock photos focused around black and brown people.
