Free online STEM lessons with Mastercard's Girls4Tech Connect
Mastercard has expanded access to its signature STEM curriculum Girls4Tech with a range of new creative online educational resources. The program was developed to help parents and teachers motivate and inspire children aged 8 to 12.
Through the newly launched Girls4Tech Connect website and through activities conducted in collaboration with educational partner Scholastic, teachers and parents can download lessons to help students learn about STEM topics from the comfort of their own home or around the world learn.
These activities are based on global scientific and mathematical standards ā and include Mastercard's extensive expertise in payment technology and innovation ā so that children can discover a range of MINT careers, including: B. Fraud detective, data scientist and software engineer.
In its sixth year, Girls4Tech has hired more than 800,000 students worldwide through research-based activities and real-world challenges to inspire more girls to pursue a STEM career and narrow the gender gap in these areas.

New activities are published weekly on the Girls4Tech website, on the Facebook page and in the Twitter handle. Classes are currently available in English. More content in Spanish and Chinese will follow in the coming weeks.
While all lessons are designed for students who want to work independently, teachers also have materials to help them conduct online sessions.
Impact highlights from the first six years
To date, Girls4Tech has reached more than 800,000 girls in 27 countries and 6 continents.
The program has hired more than 4,400 mentors worldwide.
Mastercard has partnered with Scholastic, Be Better China, Major League Baseball, Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), R & A and YCAB in Indonesia to further scale the program and make girls ages 8 to 16 unique Wise to offer STEM skills.
With the further development of technological skills, a new curriculum was introduced in 2019 to give students a deeper insight into the growing areas of cybersecurity and AI ā Girls4Tech Cybersecurity & AI.
Girls4Tech programs with Girls4Tech 2.0 also extend to girls between the ages of 13 and 16 as well as a 20-week coding program, Girls4Tech & Code for girls from 8 to 10 years.
