My first thoughts about Master Kid?

Eheh, that he was a little shit! A red-haired brat, too big for his own britches. Kid was scrawny, half-starved, and filthy when our paths first crossed. Trying to---and failing at---picking pockets with his mop-haired best friend. Kinda pathetic!

Wire told me we should have just left them alone, but...I always had a soft spot for strays :'}

But he grew on me the more we let them hang around. Turns out kids aren't so wont to stab you over your wallet if you help to feed them, get them a roof over their heads, and treat them like people instead of vermin. He was loud and rude and annoying...but he was also kind, protective, and smart as hell.

And I could see a spark in him, something I knew would grow into a burning inferno, if given the chance. I found I genuinely wanted to see him become someone who would carve his name into the pages of history.

And then I almost died. If not for he and Killer, I may have. A story for another time, but suffice it to say that I owe him my life. So when he decided he would become a pirate and go to sea, I dedicated myself to joining his crew.
