From Daeron II to Aegon V

-> at that point in the timeline, the Targaryens tend to follow westerosi fashion, highborn ladies wearing "modest" headpieces (headdress, hair nets, crown braid), similar to European medieval era, reflecting the weight of the Faith of the Seven

-> men tend to wear simpler fashion and jewelry too, donning an earring here and there but nothing extravagant (except Aerion)

-> Aegon V's attire reflects his reign and his will to bring back the Targaryen to their past glory (ending badly in Summerhall) and so his look and Betha Blackwood's are more "Targaryen" coded, this wish is/was also followed in a way by his siblings, Aerion and Rhea

Oh absolutely. It's heartbreaking. Especially now having watched AKTOSK and having seen Egg, I can't think about Aemon without tearing up.

The prophecy has almost solely involved the Targaryen family for a few hundred years prior to Rhaegar's birth, most notably in Rhaegar's case through the Ghost of High Heart straight up saying the prince would come from the Rhaella/Aerys line, that's why their father Jaehaerys insisted that they marry.

Rhaegar was the only Aerys and Rhaella's son for 17 years, it wasn't "random".

We also know that Rhaegar consulted maester Aemon on the matter, and if he (learned maester, has read banned texts on dragons, possibly had prophetic dreams himself, brother of Daeron the dreamer who absolutely had prophetic dreams) was convinced that Rhaegar is the guy... it doesn't seem very far fetched that Rhaegar would be convinced as well (before changing his mind with his son).

The prince of course is Dany, but Rhaegar died before she was even born sadly, or i'm sure he would've helped/protected her

Lady Dyanna Dayne fue miembro de la Casa Dayne durante el reinado del Rey Daeron II Targaryen. Se casó con el cuarto hijo de Daeron, el príncipe Maekar, y juntos tuvieron seis hijos: Daeron, Aerion, Aemon, Aegon, Daella y Rhae Targaryen. Murió antes del 209 DC, mucho antes de la ascensión de Maekar al Trono de Hierro en el 221 DC, por lo que nunca se convirtió en reina consorte.

En su camino al torneo de Ashford en 209 DC, Ser Duncan el Alto confundió al joven príncipe Aegon Targaryen con un mozo de cuadra. Cuando Aegon declaró que su madre estaba muerta, Dunk asumió que el niño era huérfano.

Lady Dyanna Dayne was a member of House Dayne during the reign of King Daeron II Targaryen. She married Daeron's fourth son, Prince Maekar, and together they had six children: Daeron, Aerion, Aemon, Aegon, Daella and Rhae Targaryen. She died before 209 AC, well before Maekar's ascendance to the Iron Throne in 221 AC, thus she never became queen consort.
