y/n finally decided to call it quits with her ex Leon, he wasn’t the caring kind or even the kindest people of all really, he always found a way to make her feel bad no matter what she said or did,he was breaking y/n apart slowly,but she never realized that, nor did she want to ever talk about the topic whenever it was brought up, she just wanted to shut the idea of talking about it away. After when y/n broke it of with her ex she went to the person she knew, would make her feel better not just by talking just by being in his presence she knew he wouldn’t pressure her in to talking, she went over to her best friend ; Mason.

Y/n was sat on Masons sofa,wrapping herself up in the blanket wearing one of his hoodies while she was sipping a hot chocolate.The atmosphere was somewhat quiet but not the awkward kind it was a nice kind of quiet until of course the silence broke by Mason talking. 

“Y/n you do realize you can talk to me right?” Mason said as he wrapped his arm her shoulder stroking it with his thumb. Y/n let out a soft sigh and looked down and nods “ I know I can you have told me about a hundred times..” she said before moving away “but I don’t want to talk about it..or about him..his an ex for a reason”

Mason let out a soft sigh before running his hand through his hair making Y/n turn to his direction causing her to furrow her eyebrows out of confusion “Whats up with you?” she asked. Mason just shook his head turning to face her “you..I know you don’t want to talk about it..but the fact you’re pushing me away its...”he sighs” its annoying me.. I’m suppose to be your best friend..yet you’re pushing me away... just talk to me..”

Y/n went all quiet for a moment before thinking what she was going to say, she didn’t realize she was making her best friend feel the way he was it wasn’t her intention. “Mase..I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you feel like that..its just I really don’t want to talk about him..” she finally spoke rubbing his shoulder giving him a warm smile.

Deep down, Y/n knew the reason why all the arguments started with her ex was because of how close she was with Mase, but it didn’t matter how many times she told her ex that there was nothing going on or there was nothing he never believed her, but she knew deep down, she was developing feelings for her best friend, I mean who wouldn’t? Mason was always there picking up the pieces whenever her ex brought her down whether it was day or night, Mason was her safe place.

Mason turned to Y/n giving her one of his infectious smiles bringing hus hand up to her cheek as he caressed it with this thumb looking in to her eyes “I just hate what that ass hole did to you Y/n you didn’t deserve it, if you was mine..id never ever do that to you”

Y/n blushed softly as she placed her hand on top of his and smiles tilting her cheek in to his hand “I know you wouldn’t.”

There was a moment of silence between Y/n and Mason as they looked in to each other eyes not sure who was going to make the brave move first to lean in that was until Mason took the courage to go for it.Mason hated the fact Y/n was with Y/e/n, he never liked him as soon as he met him, the secret to why never liked the guy was because while Y/n was with Y/e/n .Mason always had feelings for Y/n he just never knew when or where was the best time to tell her, he always thought she would never feel the same way.

As Mason found himself leaning in first he was quiet surpised to see Y/n leaning to , as there lips connected, he stroked her cheek deepening the kiss more before pulling away he looked in to her eyes “you have no idea how long i have been waiting to do that” he smiled 

“you have no idea how long I was waiting for you to make your move” Y/n chuckled soflty looking in to his eyes.
