Clad in a warm leather jacket, Mason pulled his baseball cap down, shielding himself from the gust of cold wind. The crisp winter winds didn't do much to the smell of this city. Mason was nursing a cup of black coffee as he eyed the building in front of him. He had been scouting and doing recon of this place - the diamonds are in there in a security vault and he was taking notes of who goes in and out. So far, it was boilerplate, nothing out of the ordinary. Sighing, Mason threw away the empty cuppa, turning on his heel to make his way somewhere else. Till something - more like someone - caught his eye.
There she was, clear as day with her brown tresses framing her face. Mason's heart skipped a beat. Curses. Even after what she did, Davina had an effect on him. He hadn't seen the brunette for two years. It seemed like only yesterday he had handed her the cash she needed and making nonchalant chitchat about having a drink later. And the next thing he knew, she disappeared without a trace. "I thought you got lost in the maze of Narnia or somet'ing," he lamented, canting his head slightly back to take her in due to their height difference. "And you couldn't find your way out for two years. Would've explained so much." He was still bitter that Davina had disappeared without a trace and left him completely hanging - Ghosted. Yep. That's what she did. "You work around here now?"
