When the corona cases starting trickling in my state, my own classmates, directly criticized me for wearing a mask, constantly telling me that they don't work and how I should "give it up already." Since the criticism occurred so many times, I tried searching whether masks worked on Google, and there were so many articles dismissing the use of masks. This was also partly because at the time, the CDC declared that if you're not sick, you shouldn't wear a mask, which I found extremely fishy because my parents are from Taiwan, everyone wears masks there, and they handled the crisis extremely well. Ever since the whole #wearyourmask thing started and public locations began requiring a mask, I saw those articles on Google morph to articles along the lines of "masks DO work" and mask wearing instructions by the CDC. That fact that I was criticized multiple times by my classmates in the first place and this sudden change in information baffles me to this day. Nonetheless, WEAR YOUR MASK!! 😷 #masksarecool . . . #studygram #studyblr #study #student #stationery #wearyourmask #art #bulletjournal #bujo #journal #notebook #doodle #vstudies #covid19 #corona #coronavirus #masksarecool #asian #asianamerican https://www.instagram.com/p/CCU5pGJB6uC/?igshid=196d3a5lvvb2x
