For the last year, the twins had been the priority—and rightly so, of course. With their first birthday coming up, the focus was even more centered on them. So, the time Molly and Josh had together to do things, just the two of them, was kind of limited. Molly wouldn’t change it, she wouldn’t change their beautiful, hectic life with their babies, but did she think that perhaps they deserved a break every now and then? Definitely. sugar, spice and everything nice, that’s what molly st. james is made of. she was a happy, bubbly baby, and an even happier, bubblier child. she was rarely seen without a smile, and most of the time she remembered her manners. sometimes, this came in the form of apologies, because molly was evidently born without a filter, and she’d often say things that sounded very much not the way she’d intended, but she’d be the first to say a heartfelt sorry and move on. while she always had a ton of friends, molly was also happy in her own company, though it seemed she was never truly alone. For a while, her parents humored her imaginary friends as just that, though an incident at the age of fifteen that had her almost suffocating her sister in her sleep led to a schizophrenia diagnosis that knocked the family for six. molly spent time in a facility following her diagnosis, though she has never really forgiven herself for the incident. still, she has always tried to lead a normal life in spite of that, going to college alongside her sister and managing her illness with a cocktail of medication. molly suffered a brief lapse when she decided she no longer needed her medicine. sparing the details, she wound up in a facility again, and has never stopped taking them again since.

what’s normal for molly is not the norm for everybody else, something further proven by her marriage to her now ex-husband, scott taylor. scott is polypan, while molly is not, but she was able to accept his preferences. he had various sexual partners throughout their marriage, though nothing serious, not until his now-boyfriend charlie came along. molly tried not to let charlie’s presence and prominence in her husband’s life get to her, focusing as hard as possible on her flower shop, the secret garden, though she soon begun to feel like the third person in the relationship, and it became too much for her bear. molly didn’t intend to find somebody else; she met joshua mccarthy by accident, their feelings for one another sparking instantly. in the space of just over a year, molly has fallen deeply in love with joshua, moved in with him, agreed to marry him, and welcomed twin babies with him, while also taking on step-motherly duties of joshua’s teenage daughter. she fast tracked her divorce from scott, though despite him now happily living alone with charlie, he’s still intent on sabotaging molly and joshua’s life, but they refuse to actually let him, and are focusing on their new family, something molly is thankful for every single day.
