I have been thinking about something Klinger says in the second episode of season five (Bugout!). when he gives his dresses away in exchange for a building to house the new OR, he says he’s been building that collection for three years.
three years.
I know MASH has more than it’s fair share of chronology and continuity errors, but even though the show has eleven seasons, it canonically only spans the three years in which the Korean War actually happened. In season five, we are maybe halfway through those three years.
but Klinger has been building his dress collection for three years by that point. which means he started making dresses for himself a year and a half before he got drafted.
Saw someone else do this and wanted to do one too!
