Masato Hijirikawa/Otoya Ittoki

Masato and Otoya’s relationship was a slow-burner. They bloomed quite late (especially compared to everyone else in STARISH), probably coming together as fully-fledged adults, as opposed to young lovers

Otoya is usually the one to start things out. He was the first one to ask to hold Masato’s hand. Otoya asked for everything first, but only did it if the other was comfortable enough. Surprisingly, however, Masato was the one to initiate their first kiss

Masato finds Otoya’s guitar strumming very relaxing, and Otoya feels the same about Masato’s piano playing. It’s really nice for the both of them to come home and be welcomed by the sound of their lover’s soft music

Otoya is kind of a dork when it comes to Masato’s theatre performances. He always comes on the opening night (he makes sure to clear his schedule a month before). He puts on his nicest suit and sits in the audience with a huge smile on his face. Otoya always gets really excited when he sees Masato enter on stage. He tries his best not to call out to him, though the ushers always hush him.

Otoya is strangely but utterly fascinated by Masato’s beauty mark. Masato finds it to be endearingly weird, and embarrassing; he doesn’t understand why Otoya thinks it’s so interesting. He doesn’t have the words to fully explain it, only ever able to say that he just finds it “pretty” or “beautiful”. Otoya will occasionally brush his thumb over the mark when they kiss, delicately stroking Masato’s cheek.

One of the favorite things that they like to do is to go on walks during late autumn. The leaves are crunchy and the weather is just right for the both of them. Otoya likes the weather to be warmer but he would rather hold hands with his lover while walking down the path. Otoya sometimes jokes about having Masato run with him in the hot summer.

‘What is with him? Is he trying to play with my heart? Why is it working??’

He kept on blabbering and blabbering making Masa get all the more flustering and flustering until he had to shush him.

but lately he has been learning to ask permission and masato gives him permission

he’s still a little awkward about kissing though the poor boi
