Masada is one of the most visited sites in Israel as it holds great historical importance. The ancient fortress on top of a rocky plateau was the last stronghold during the First Roman-Jewish War.
The fortress was originally constructed by King Herod in 31 BCE. Years later, it was the refuge of a group of Jewish rebels. After the siege of Masada, Roman forces discovered that the rebels had chosen to take their own lives instead of becoming slaves. The site is now a symbol of heroism and a popular tourist attraction.

How to deal with haterzzz
When Surah Masad was revealed (in which Allah promised that Abu Lahab and his wife will basically go to hell), Umm Jameel, Abu Lahab's wife was furious, so she made up a poem where she refered to our Prophet  as "Muzzamam" (= the one who is condemned) instead of Muhammad (= the one who is praised and thanked). Also, she recited that this religion should be rejected and his rules will always be disobeyed. When Muhammad pbuh was asked about the poem, he didn't make up a poem to get back at her, nor did he bash her. He just said that she didn't mean him, she was referring to someone called "Muzammam". ;)
So, we learn that there is no point in engaging in such childish attacks. Such people aren't worth giving attention to. If someone wants to critisize something in a diplomatic way, sure we should discuss the matter like adults. But bashing each other and putting each other down is not the sunnah.
Haters gonna hate, potatoes gonna potate.Â
