March Mecha #30 - PPS-042 Hedrax
Another great example of re-purposing unused designs.. and names, Hedrax being the name of the mecha in my first comic. In early Versions of Blade Kitten there was a huge chase scene with Kit on her GT hunting down Justice in her mech to get her breaker Key back. While on paper it was awesome it was also wildly beyond what we could do in scope with our small team - admittedly I was still in Star Wars: TFU head space where we had to come up with crazy big set pieces (then you cut things back to make them doable). Anyway that version of the chase was cut but it partially remains in the first Noot level though it’s nowhere near as impressive a spectacle as I originally had in my head.
Since it never got used for BK (Justice did end up getting a mech but it was just a custom paint job) I reworked the design a bit to use it in Enceladus.
