The days are still getting very hot here in San Diego inland. It is forecasted to be around 86 F/ 31 C the whole next week, but when I am out there gardening early in the morning I can clearly sense that autumn is coming and there is some mildness and softness in the air. The roses are starting to develop bigger blooms already again - during the height of summer they are sometimes only one third of their normal size - and rosa ‘Mary Rose’ a very floriferous and beautiful David Austin rose, is gearing up to produce her autumn flush. I am expecting to be able to cut some little posies from this rose soon and I am looking very much forward to that. What are you looking forward to in your garden right now? Wishing everyone a peaceful and lovely Sunday! #rose #roses #pinkrose #pink #softpink #roselover #rosesaddict #rosesofinstagram #organicgardendreams #rosamaryrose #maryroserose #floriferous #beautiful #davidaustin #davidaustinroses #sandiego #sandiegoinland #southerncalifornia #california @david_austin_roses (at San Diego, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/BmqevtwFx_Y/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=t3j0zof04312
