In Islamic tradition, Mary has many titles. Here's some I found particularly beautiful and endearing.

I think it really depends on your path in your faith. My perspective on mary devotion is from a folk catholic/slightly "witchy" perspective but I think even if you're a more traditional catholic, my advice still can work!

Here's what I recommend (this isn't comprehensive, and may not align with all church teachings):

- pray the rosary! this is a big one. Our Lady of Fatima, Mary herself in the form of an apparition requested people to pray the rosary often. Its a way we can talk to her, give her company, respect her, offer her roses, and honour her son she loves.

- make a devotional space. I dont have a physical altar or space for her as of yet, but i made a collage that looks like an altar on Pinterest and pull that photo up when I pray with her!

- cook for her. I offer her food or drinks when I cook. its a way to show appreciation and love for her and can help with petition requests

- pray the memorare. I ask mary for a lot, and I think the memorare is a beautiful way to petition her.

- honour or adore her image. look at photos of her and her immaculate heart. Some mystics are known to kiss photos of saints and christ. you can do that to show adoration if you want to!

- pray a chaplet or novena. novenas are nine day long prayers. its a way to show long term devotion and commitment. chaplets are smaller prayers similar to the rosary. you dont have to have chaplet beads or a rosary to pray these!! there's specific chaplets or novenas for everything. You might pray one to help with a petition, you might choose another to show adoration, you might pray another to meditate. there's so many to choose from.

- make offerings. give her flowers (roses and lilies are mentioned in the bible), food, sing her songs or hum (there's many hymns for her), ask her about her day, tell her you love her and thank her, offer white or pink candles and tend to them. make a mary garden either indoors or outdoors and care for it, or offer perfume, incense, smoke, ocean water, or kind acts for others in her name.

- wear a scapular or miraculous medal, or keep a rosary on you, or try a head veil if you feel called to!

- make or keep a pocket devotional for her! these are really beautiful and fun to make! there's a lot of great ideas on Pinterest for this.
