Mom: Ora.  Yusssssssss.  Best mom.  She sings me to sleep every night.

Sibling: Fai.  Oh no.  It’s like being trapped with myself at 15.

Grandma: Sue.  Apparently this means she’s Ora’s mom?  Intersting role reversal

Haunts me: Kazuhiko.  Ok I can only assume he’s my dad and apparently he’s dead so this is weird.

My girlfriend: Karen.  Thank.  I am not worthy.  I probably screw up a lot but she always forgives me.

My ex: Hokuto.  I am terrified because there is no way this was a gentle break-up.  There is a Hokuto out there who is pissed at me for something.

The BFF: Kurogane.  Hell yes.  This means my BFF is my future bro-in-law and I am cool with that.

Proposed to me: Ioryogi.  Ummmmmmmmm.  I would be genuinely scared to refuse.  However, it would be hilarious is he was really bad about it and like, proposed over the phone or something and I thought it was Kuro prank-calling me.

My Boss: Souma.  So practical.  So skilled.  Sometimes her wife sends her to work with too many cookies and she hands them out to us.

Random person I met at a bar: Hikaru (robot).  I sit at a bar, several drinks in, and squint at the person next to me.  She appears to be less than a foot tall.  I poke her just to be sure I’m not more gone than I think I am.  She turns and stares at me indignantly.  I apologize.

My rival: Kohaku.  There is no way for me to survive this.  Goodbye friends.  I will not be around much longer.  I will be killed by kindness.

My first kiss: Miyuki.  I push my way past all the sexy dominatrixes and rescue the poor girl form their clutches.  The kiss is my reward.

Drunk and singing karaoke with: Chun Hyang.  I am excited for this because this girl is probs a party animal.

Played “7 Minutes in Heaven” with: Sakura (any. yes, i mean any).  Initially I just laughed because I was picturing 7 different Sakuras fetching me hot chocolate and tucking me in to bed and reading books to me out loud.  Later, I  looked up whatever the heck this game is on urbandictionary and discovered its pretty much “spin the bottle” but with a closet,  Which is way less interesting.

Gave me my favorite desert: Hideki.  Aw that’s so sweet.  He probably picked it up from cool baker guy.  I don’t remember his name.

I am running two panels this year!

Saturday morning bright and early at 9am in panel room 1: The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Hitsuzen (yes, old meme is old).  It's essentially a "debate the best of the best" CLAMP panel.  

Sunday morning at 10am in panel room 3: literarythieves-13 and I are hosting Must Read Manga.  It was inspired by a friend who told me how he wanted to get into manga more, but just didn't know where to start or how to find new series.  We'll be going through some basic genres, series that fit into the tropes of the genre, and series that defy it.

The Questions I'm Answering:

Why do you answer Chain Letters? Because they make me feel like I've accomplished something when I finish them.

What constitutes being an adult?  Feeling some sense of responsibility for your own actions, even if that means looking back on your purchase of a toy or cake and thinking "yeah, that thing cost me money but I am okay with that."

Do you eat meat? Why or why not?  Yes.  Because it is delicious.

Who (real or fictional) do you look up to?  Many many people.  I really do look up to my parents, despite some moments of irritation due to the age-culture difference.  

What do you think of Tumblr?  It's pretty fun and a great medium to connect to people who enjoy the same things as you.  It's so nice to know that someone out there is just as crazy, if not crazier, than you about a thing you enjoy.

What’s your favorite cult film?  Hmmm.  I don't really watch a lot of what would be considered "cult films."  The first that pops to mind is Rocky Horror Picture Show.  But within my family we've developed a small cult for A Knight's Tale.

What do you look for in a friend?  I do not purposely look for friends.  Which means, I don't see a person and go "they could be my friend."  If I happen to meet someone and enjoy talking to them, I'll try to create more opportunities for us to talk more.  And maybe eventually we'll become friends.  I like hanging out with people who can in one moment have a serious and interesting debate and in the next will make some sort of awful (read: fart) joke.

Do you have more friends who are younger than you or older than you? A majority of my friends are older than me and there are actually some very obvious reasons why, but that would require me to rant about my education and family life.

Where do you go to relax? Sometimes I need to relax from being around people too much, so I go somewhere where I don't have to speak to anyone.  Other times I need to take a break from being alone too much, so I go where I can hold a conversation with friends.

Would you rather be a hipster or a punk? Why? Hipster, because punk is too mainstream.  (It's actually because I can't get piercings or tattoos to allow me to go full punk).

What does the color green remind you of? The grass of a field about to be torn up by my soccer cleats.
