Usually there’s an initial appointment (kind of like a meet and greet with your doctor) and then you schedule a physical while you’re there.

My insurance has a website where you can find doctors who're in the network, it even let you filter to see who's accepting new patients! Once I picked one from the list I called them up, verbally confirmed they're taking new patients, then asked to schedule an annual exam.

honestly.....i feel that, i should really get an overall check up but i have no doctor that's taking patients on if it's not sth dire

Yes! Ask if they’re taking new patients and then say that you’d like to schedule a physical!

Call them up and see if they take your insurance. If they do, schedule an appointment. Mine calls it a wellness appointment. Good luck!
