12) Favorite Hannigram moment? Oh dear lord, nothing really compares to seeing the two of them sit in front of the Primavera pouring their hearts out to each other in Dolce. They’re so raw and honest and open and my heart stops whenever I watch it. And since you got me thinking about it, here’s some things I noticed about that scene that I missed the first 100,000,000 times:
Hannibal is drawing Will FROM MEMORY. It’s been like eight months and the boy remembers every curl.
Hannibal leaves his sketchbook open as he and Will talk. I mean, whenever someone approaches me and I’m in the middle of journaling or sketching, I instinctively close the book. HANNIBAL WANTS WILL TO SEE HIS FAN ART.
When Hannibal says, “Now is the hardest test. Not letting rage or frustration, nor forgiveness, keep you from thinking,”— this is Hannibal saying to Will, I heard you, I was there in the catacombs, waiting. It never even occurred to me that this was the first time Hannibal acknowledged Will’s forgiveness, and he does it so slyly.
PS: I also love the utterly palpable staring at the end of Naka-Choko during their first “I know it’s people” meal. Which also reminds me of the totally erotic ortolan scene… there’s a lot of sensual eating going on in this show. Certifiably Gay.

Hello! I would like a Detailed Blog Rate. 🎄 My Favorite Thing about Christmas is waking up around 7:00 that morning when everyone is asleep. My living room is quiet and dark, apart from the tree lights. It’s beautiful to see the all the presents, stockings, and room put together. Then I get my stocking and go through it until everyone wakes up. It’s such a calming but exciting experience.
