Martin: ...

Like a lot. 

Martin: *Opens door* Did you feel that?

Me: *Painting nails* Mhm

Martin: Did you feel that?

Me: Yeah

Martin: Okay good, it wasn't just me. *Leaves*

I'm hella going to miss being part of the Cappella Facebook group with him

Woke up at 5 and called/texted people saying, "Good morning, Sunshine!!!!"

I was very excited. Today was my last day at Skywalker.

Four years of choir, Three years of Skywalker, Two years of Cantos, My one year in Cappella, it's all really ending.

I left Martin at home because I was late last year and it was really awful so I didn't want to risk it LOL

I packed a lot....like so much that I got stuck walking out of the choir room LOL. I sat next to Parkie both there and back, it was like a sneak peak of Vancouver already LOL. I can't WAIT. We listened to choir music, talked a bit, and then both just slept. I packed enough blankets for us both, and Cindy too(:

Andrew and Enya and Madina and Autumn told jokes behind us and talked rather loudly<3

Skywalker was like how it always was to me, kind of like how I wanted home to be. It had this warm feeling in the Green room and was absolutely stunning. I showed some of the Cantos girls the way to the bathroom and ran into David, our sound guy, and told him good morning, and he was like, "Good morning, Tiffany!" And the girls were like, "Wow, he knows your name!!" And I just laughed and told him that I'm usually helping him soundcheck mikes and all of that fun stuff.

Cappella did like everything and nothing during our 3-4 hour wait. Some studied, some slept, some watched RENT, some sang, Enya played the cello for Cantos (By the way, Tundra is definitely their best song). And then we got surprise personalized cookies!!!! :D

When we finally got to sing, it was just amazing. Warm-ups already had me all giddy inside and then singing Danny Boy in the Atrium just made me even more excited. 

I drank almost 7 bottles of water today.....after number 5, Ellen and Ana confiscated my water bottles because I finished number 5 in two minutes....throughout the course of Jericho...and I didn't even realize it LOL. They called it an addiction and a problem, but I couldn't stop drinking water. My throat was so parched LOLOLOL. Lucky for me, I had a few hidden bottles here and there LOL. But omg for every bottle I finished, I HAD to pee SO bad. I was dying during Ave Maria LOL.

My high C was solid, which was good. I really wish I had the chance to record it a second time when the choir got their act together a little more but whatever, past problems now.

My biggest regret was starting the day off with Carol of the Bells. This song was SO important to me, it HAD to be done right, because this is kind of the song that decided what kind of choir we were. And we were all of the place tempo wise, and we only had two takes. I was extremely disappointed.

The super heavy soundproofing door like ran into my foot while it was closing so it broke my nail and I was bleeding like a lot LOL AND IT HURTS SO BAD D:

It was a little bit of my fault because I walked around completely barefoot all day, but other people did it too!!! Well...they had socks...but that wouldn't have helped in my situation. I'm dying here right now, my toe hurts sooooo much D:

I felt so rushed, I'd never been so rushed at Skywalker before and I didn't know why...We sang Serenades and it went pretty well. Only needed two takes for the girls, the boys needed five LOL.

Jeanette and Brian and Cindy and Gene and Connor and Parkie went crazyyyyyy the first like 15-20 minutes of the bus ride. Light wars, rapping, singing, making fun of Osker, it was great. And then we completely crashed LOL

And then Parkie took me home and now I'm tucked in bed, ready to sleep because I'm exhausted.

I'm going to miss this so much, I kind of want to just stay in high school just for choir and drama. This is where I belong. This is home. This is the place where I am loved and cherished and teased and taken care of and where I am wanted.
