In one of my previous posts I mentioned, I almost fought with my family and ran away from home to pursue my dream of becoming a scientist. I did not have friends or family in the Sates when I moved there for school. I lived alone in NY and DC. I was right out of high school. I did not have anybody helping me with a lot of things I did in my life and career. There was never an easy moment. With time I become really good at fending for myself. I worked very hard! Now people say I lack humility and I have a lot of pride. Why not have a lot of joy and pride when you worked that HARD for something!!!! It's easy for people to look at the surface and assume. What they don't realize is how much sweat, blood and tears went in to it. I am an early career planetary scientist. More of me is yet come! and I am just getting started!!! P.S: If you are wondering what this picture is? This is a pic of me holding a Martian meteorite (on the left ) and Lunar moon rock (on the right) and standing here on Earth!!!! #Marsrock #Moonrock #Earth #youngscientist #feisty #womaninSTEM #marslove @smithsonian @smithsonianmagazine @airandspacemuseum @geosociety @global_mars @buffalostatealumni @buffalostate @bengalsabroad @buffalostateinternationals
