is there some secret tag I don’t know about. Because I’m a track marshal for racing. And I only saw one, ONE, post about track marshalling from another marshal. Where are you guys?

I’m going to guess that they meant that you’d be three British Grand Prixs away from marshalling at the British gp, because that would give you 3 years to progress which if you did it regularly might be achievable?
That would definitely be achievable and make sense. The British Motorsport Marshal Club (BMMC) recommendation is to do at least 4 races per year. Many (but by no means all) are two-day commitments. This would give 8 signatures per year towards the 15 needed to hit the minimum for an upgrade to the lowest marshal level that can work the Grand Prix (or other international-level races). I asked at Autosport in January. The British Grand Prix is mid-season, so spending the years British Grands Prix 1 and 2 to get the minimum signatures would give time to secure the paperwork and get into the mix for selection for British Grand Prix 3 (or 4, if unlucky/otherwise engaged the first time eligible - not all racing in Britain stops for the Grand Prix, although a lot of it does). Depending on proximity to a track and life circumstances, it may be feasible to do many more than 4 races per year. My local track (Donington Park) has 30 national-level races this year. Even if someone did only half of them, and deliberately signed up for every 1-day event among them, they'd still end up with 25 signatures in a single year. That would allow them, in their second year, to marshal at every event there - and indeed the F1.
