Giving up isn't an option! Marriages will go through their ups and downs! But would you give up on your cheating spouse? Or would you work on the things that led them to want another? Often we get so wrap up in the aspect of the CHEATING that we never ask or think how does the cheater feel! Why did she/he do it? Could it have been prevented? How can we make this better? Instead of playing out how it happen....the steps that lead to it are just as important! Marriage is a wonderful thing! I didn't always think that back in 2005.....it seem like the closed door....the whole my life is over! Nine years later.....I can't imagine my life without my spouse....granted I've cause some hurt and pain that I can't take back.....but what I've learned in the process of what true and unconditional love is.....my spouse taught me that! It takes a strong minded and loving person to stay committed to a person that may have not always been committed to them! It still doesn't take away the hurt or shame....or failure both parties tend to feel. Rather than dwelling on the past....grabbing one another having those heated discussions....getting that rage out of how this or that makes one feel is so important! These are things I wish were discuss before marriage.....all we knew was that we we're in love and we wanted to marry and start a family....everything else we would figure out as we go.....our foundation was LOVE! That is still the foundation however with aging as one comes changes....not just in the body but emotionally! Both parties need things from the other.....which requires an amount of COMMUNICATION.....lack their of isn't good....it begins to weaken the foundation that was strong....then begins to waver.....but never give up! As long as that foundation was there from the beginning it will stand the test of time! Never giving up on us! Our love is forever! Unbreakable
