to my love; perhaps like i feared, the years of transitioning from man to wolf has wounded my intelligence and my mind. because each time i look at you, it seems that i forget every single word in the english vernacular, except 'you'. you've taken over my mind, my words, my hands, every inch of me is covered in some way by some reminder of you. your face lingers in my mind, your laugh haunts my ears, your lips ghosts mine, your hands intertwining in my own even in my sleep. it's as if you've made yourself residence in a home i didn't even know was looking for a resident. i never thought i'd want another in my mind – the wolf was always an unwanted presence – yet i find myself craving the presence of you. perhaps if you're willing, i could make myself present in your mind too? yours, if you'll have me, forever, remus j. lupin
