-after a few weeks of having their heat shut off, Roger tries to smash Benny's old bedframe up so they can burn it, since their whole neighbourhood has already run through all the spare wood/cardboard in the Village

-except Roger does not have a saw of any type, so he uses a hammer and it takes like 8 hours to get like four pieces of wood

-this happens on Thanksgiving when Mark is at his family's house and he comes home with Tupperwares of food for Roger because Roger's family won't acknowledge him or invite him for dinner and so Mark comes home to a roaring fire and also a giant pile of destruction

-Roger thinks he's going to be mad but Mark just pauses for a moment and then realizes it's Benny's bed and then both of them just laugh for like 10 minutes until their ribs hurt and then they camp out in front of the wood-burning stove and Roger eats cold turkey and mashed potatoes and cherry pie because he's too hungry to try warming it up

Because... because Adam and Anthony. And the chemistry. And the NYTW version and and and... and HE SAYS. Come on! Half of the original cast of my OTP ships it, at least! And Mark and Roger and asdfgjkl;. I think their ridiculously close friendship provides a really solid, unbreakable foundation for a romantic interest. And to be honest, I've always had the feeling that Mark at the very least was painfully closeted and in love with his roommate. I know I'm not the only one. (It might be Anthony Rapp and his characterization...)

Watching FLoB for the first time with my friend and her sister, and shipping Chase!Roger and Kantor!Mark so hard it wasn't even funny. LET'S SEE HOW CLOSE WE CAN SING. YEAH.

In the NYTW/demo: "Love you... call." "Love you too..." Seriously the original versions of Goodbye Love were so much better.

In the final version: The window scene, without a doubt. Mark just gets Roger so well. He's always looking out for him and their friendship is just so perfect and I can't. They're flawless.
