I'm so endeared by the French term for a stray cat being "chat errant." This implies the existence of a stray knight. Or that a chat errant is searching for noble purpose.

I've seen kink scenarios where one party to a relationship really wants to be the princess in some sort princess/knight dynamic and the other is too normie to properly play their part, and I agree that's funny as hell, but I think the converse scenario where the "princess" is the one who's trying to be normal about it also has legs.

there’s a dedicated ashandpikachuspotter account somewhere on some social media. You tag a photo or search for a term and boom, there’s pics of this guy. this dude. this man. with his pikachu. and it’s thousands of strangers from across the globe coming on line to talk about some stranger that they met briefly and then never saw again. they’ve compiled their stories and their approximate locations and mapped his journey from continent to continent, a long snaking pathway that spans decades and thousands of miles. He’s apparently one of those Kanto kids that the government let just drop out of school. Its working out very well for him.

seeing people say "this trope has been done to death" as if that's ever stopped anyone from eating bread. I hope everyone who had a very specific fetish before they even knew what sex was has a very good day. The isolation you embody as a child because of some innate sense that there's something in you that is Wrong and Gross and Different is deeply traumatizing but I promise you are a full human being deserving of love, healing, and happiness.

He was as tall as he was tall, and his eyes were the color they were. To describe his hair one would say that he had some. His face had all the features you'd expect, and none of the ones you wouldn't. "There he is," people would often say of him, but only when he was there. And they were right.
