Knightkinktober week 1: Blade
inspired by @gauntlyt , full on my AO3 soon; tw for blood
Oh to have a pretty man bleeding at my feet.. sigh.
To finally notice someone so flawlessly beautiful at my royal court, maybe it's a foreign knight who only knows my name and banner, maybe a noble I already had my eyes on for a while. Someone who's been distracting me from my duties for a while, to the point when I can't take it anymore.
He's clueless, of course he is. Who wouldn't want the attention of their lord, after all? But such bravery to taunt me in public has to be rewarded properly. All his teasing glances, the eye contact kept just a second too long but for everyone to see.. he's playing a dangerous game, with a man who doesn't need restraint. It's entertaining when someone forgets how powerless they truly are, when they think something as useless as court etiquette will shield them, that my attention is safe at best and teasing at worst... Now it's his turn to find out that is not the case.
A handsome man, all alone and begging for attention is an interesting guest, might as well give him that publicly like he strives for. In a moment he's grabbed and thrown at my feet, still not fully understanding his situation. I let him wipe his split lip with a groan, my eyes fixed on the small droplets of blood on his hand. I slowly draw my sword and tilt his chin up with the tip, relishing in the control he's given me - without knowing first. He slowly realizes what he got himself into, shivering under my intense gaze and feeling the cold metal of my blade way too close to his throat. If he's so eager to entertain me, now here's his chance. He feels more and more eyes on him by the second, my guests wondering what he could've done to be humiliated for like this, but he's held steady by my guards and I don't seem to mind the curious glances. I slowly tap the tip of my sword to his cheek, and despite his best efforts to break out of the hold he remains kneeling at my feet. He feels the steel along his cheek, the warmth of his blood running down his face as his lord, known by more than title and banner now, carefully carves his initials into his face.
