My FIL loves twilight the books series idk about the movies

So he picked up like a complete set of the Marked series at a garage sale like 2 weeks ago.

I was like the writing isn’t the best I’ve read the first book it wasn’t for me.

Idk how far he got into book 1 but I walked out the next morning and he’s like

“Do you want these books?” Referencing the stack of books

And I was like no the writing ain’t good (this is my opinion if you like the books go off and enjoy them I’m rooting for you)

And his IMMEDIATE response was

“They’re going in the trash.” And he walked them out to the trash can and threw them away.

Him and my MIL have limited space so they don’t keep books especially if they don’t like them.

But I mentally lost it because he was like “cool imma put them where I feel like they belong”
