The death of Raxadin.
Full Story and more pictures bellow.
The village of the matoran had been destroyed, and the Toa were desperate. There was only one way to stop Metron from eradicating the rest of them, and it was to follow the mysterious stranger Vion’s visions, but that meant leaving the matoran elsewhere.
Fortunately the matoran were not hopeless, as the Toa had convinced the leader of the skakdi camp, Markach, to safeguard them while the Toa were away by trading him Vion’s golden gauntlet.
Raxadin, the brutish skakdi hunter, did not approve of this. The matoran were defenceless, and the Toa would be easy to manipulate with them in his grasp.
So Raxadin betrayed the trust of his fellow skakdi and kidnapped some of the matoran in the night, to use them as hostages when the Toa returned.
Two of the 40 odd remaining matoran went to track down their missing peers, and Markach sent out Skareena to look for Raxadin himself. Of course, they were both in the same place, and the matoran got there first.
Raxadin did not know this day would be his last. Among the matoran he had captured was Makuta Desparos, disguised as a matoran and unable to sneak out during Metron’s attack, and desperate to find an excuse to get back into their original shape.
“You may never speak of this.”
When Skareena arrived at Raxadin’s hideout, she found the freed matoran and asked where Raxadin was. They did not answer.
