Weekly output: talking CES 2020 with Mark Vena This was one of those weeks where all of my public output involved me talking about my job instead of doing it (including one radio interview that doesn't seem to have gotten aired and a second podcast that should get posted next week).

Marina Paradis – Mother, she was the one who inspired Mark to bake, super sweet mother. A teacher.
Caroline Paradis – Mother, she was a bit harsher but was still sweet, helped Mark get his first binder and really likes Ace. A doctor.
Virus Vena - Little Brother in Law, he must be protected, he is the sweetest, smartest little boy Mark has ever known and will protect him from harm. Mark loves baking for Virus and will always try his best to make sure Virus eats or doesn't cut. Mark was the one that found Virus after his suicide attempt and is the reason Virus got to the hospital so fast. Mark was the best moral support for Ace and helped Virus slowly recover and make sure he got enough to eat.
Kyle Vena – Son, is so proud of him, loves him to bits and will do everything he can to make sure Kyle grows up in a safe and loving environment.
Michael Vena – Grandfather in law, wow he is old, but so nice. Nice old man.

Ace Vena – Where to begin, hes strong, kind, understanding, perfect in every way, funny, handsome did I say perfect yet? Ace and Mark met at a bar, Mark being in college at the time and all alone. This lead to Ace befriending and falling in love with Mark. One night, Mark came out to Ace and Ace was more than happy to pay for surgeries, binders, and anything else Mark needed. The two got married, took the time to discuss having a kid and eventually had one. Mark recently had top and bottom surgery and is now recovering. Ace owes Mark his life, his son's life and his brother's life. Mark Paradis is Ace's paradise.

HISTORY -
Mark was born to a lesbian couple, after Caroline choose to get donations from a sperm bank in hopes of them having a biological child. Mark was loved deeply by his parents, not quite fitting in with them. Mark seemed more like a boy, often asking to wear suits instead of dresses. Caroline could tell Mark was a boy from the first few years, hinting it to Marina. Soon, Mark started to take an interest in cooking and baking, spending almost all of his free time learning new things. Mark continued this habit throughout his 12 years of education, going on to culinary school. One night, at a bar Mark found, he met the love of his life. Ace Vena. A man going through alcoholism and trying to keep his little brother together. Mark and him clicked, becoming friends soon. They began to flirt, hinting at possible attraction. Virus met Mark one night when he took Ace home after a drunken fit. The tiny graynette was scared of him at first, but that morning they bonded as Mark helped Virus get ready for school and actually eat something for once. Mark and Ace started dating soon after, Ace knowing of Mark's gender. Later on, Mark came to their apartment, discovering Virus passed out on the floor with his neck cut open. It was because of Mark and his mother Caroline that Virus lived and healed the way he did. Mark guided both of the boys to recovery and eventually became part of the family. Mark and Ace discussed a child for months, Mark agreeing to bear the child and then get surgery after. Kyle was the perfect addition to the family.
