After 36 years servin’to Magnum,decided to left the band!!

Thank you 4 everythin. Thank you for being there to my childhood and my teenage footsteps to Hard Rock n’ Heavy Metal..

Aaaahhhh, das ist dicke Post. Keyboarder Mark Stanway verlässt Magnum per sofort. Die Band befindet sich gerade auf Tour und hat eigentlich noch drei Daten zu absolvieren, Mark Stanway hat jedoch mitgeteilt auch bei diesen drei verbliebenen Daten nicht mehr Teil von Magnum zu sein. Unumstössliche Umstände haben den Keyboarder nach 36 Jahren bei der Band dazu gebraucht, eine seiner schwersten Entscheidungen seines Lebens zu treffen. Hier noch das volle Statement von Mark;

“Due to irrevocable circumstances, I am deeply saddened to announce that I have made one of the most difficult decisions in my life – I have officially left Magnum. I apologise to anyone who was maybe hoping to see me personally over the next few days, but sadly I will not be there. However, I should like it known, that, I am and will remain extremely proud to have been a small part of it all for the past 36 years or so and wish the band and organisation all the best for the future. I will of course firmly remain in music and hope to see many of you a little further down the road.”

Nun ist Magnum am Zug dies zu kommentieren. Bassist Al Barrow hat auf jedenfall schon mitgeteilt, dass die verbleibenden drei Shows noch wie geplant stattfinden werden. Also ich bin ja gespannt wie ein Pfeilbogen, und würde gerne wissen was da los gewesen ist. So mir nichts dir nichts nach 36 Jahren eine Band zu verlassen, wird echt schwerwiegende Gründe haben. Aber wir werden es ja bestimmt noch in irgendeiner Form mitkriegen.
