Well, if you're reading the Robert Caro books, you aren't going to miss ANY details! And I think I've had my fingers crossed every day of the 13 years since Volume IV of The Years of Lyndon Johnson was released that we get Volume V. I understand Mr. Caro has his process, which is why the books are so iconic, and we don't want to rush him, but he is going to be 90 years old this year and we already lost his editor, the legendary Robert Gottlieb, so I can't help but be a little worried.

As for books about Vietnam, I have to admit that it's one area of history that I don't love reading about. I've certainly done some reading about it and have some recommendations, but it's not one of the topics that I really enjoy. But since LBJ is, by far, the President I've spent the most time reading about, it's certainly an important and tragic part of his story. Anyway, here are a few suggestions:

A box of biscuits. What's it say, Asia? No. This looks like something that's come from a gift shop in the Middle East. Something you get on the plane on the way back from Bahrain. That looks like bananas slices cookie mix. So it's not even a box of biscuits, it's a mix.

You didn't send this? No of course not. Why in G-d's name would I send you that? That's not my comedy styling, Scott. That's not the comedy stylings of Mark Bowden to send you a box of cookie mix. Enjoy whatever you're going to do with that, that has zero to do with me.

Tea: That's not correct. Lemon ginger is for when you're not well. That's not a, that's not a tea, there's no way that you would drink lemon & ginger tea with cookies. You want a proper tea. A proper English breakfast tea, an Earl Grey would have been fantastic.
