My partner and I went to Whole Foods yesterday and bought a beautiful, large hunk of beef tenderloin with which to make filet mignon for dinner tomorrow (and then have the BEST steak and eggs for dinner on Friday), but we forgot to marinate it. Doh! It's marinating now, but I'm a little disappointed at the prospect of the meat absorbing a bit less flavor as a result of 24 fewer hours of marination. Sigh.
