While I'm on the thought of uma aus, I had some thoughts about my splatoon ocs as umamusume:
Freya (OG Agent 3) used to be a powerful racer that went to Tracen, who dropped out suddenly following a race that left her severely injured. She now participates almost exclusively in freestyle races, but her old trainer Cuttlefish keeps trying to reignite that spark for racing she used to have.
Jeanne (Agent 8) is from a prestigious and long lineage of racing legends, but has recently run away from home and her old trainer to pursue her own dreams. She enrolls at Tracen and is taught by Iso Padre, and in a chance meeting her undefeated record is broken by Freya in a freestyle race. Unable to get Freya out of her mind, Jeanne seeks her out and declares them rivals - but there's a persistent fluttering in her chest that always flares up around the Tracen dropout.
Akila (Agent 4) is an all rounder who races on both turf and dirt. She wants to make a name for herself and prove to everyone that doubted her that she CAN sing on stage, especially at winning concerts!! Her stage fright from her splatoon rendition translates very well here, and her intro story would probably be all about overcoming that stage fright.
Honey (Neo Agent 3) is Akila's classmate and an Umadol. She runs to support her family bakery, trying to win prestigious races so she can send the prize money home. Her magical girl outfit honestly doesn't need much modification to make it fit in when we're talking signature racewear.
