I should check out more by them. I probably only know Africa (which is one of my favorite songs ever. So good). But I might be surprised. I like a lot of music that’s older, stuff I heard growing up, around my family, that my siblings or parents played.

Cardinal was definitely one of my first thoughts for her, but then I remembered that the males are more colorful than females for birds. It’s still on my short list though. I also want to consider the personalities of the characters and of the birds. I considered nightingale too, because it’s a songbird and a favorite of romantic poets and such.
