I never cared about coffee shop aus before I worked at a coffee shop (meets bar meets movie theater?) and now I am thirsty for that trope but so many of them are...so........bad
Theyāre so unrealistic! Iāve never met any food service worker so happy with their job as the characters in a coffeeshop AU. Nobody bitches about having to come in at the asscrack of dawn to open, or stay late to close. Also they always date their customers! Yeah, you might talk about a cute regular to your coworkers, but getting together with them would be legit weird.
