HEADCANON MEME! — STATUS : ACCEPTING  

 🌜- for a ‘weird’ habit or tic that no one knows about  

eats her kitkats the kourtney kardashian way: by biting off the chocolate at the ends, then separating the wafers and eating them individually. however, she has been doing this for the longest time, and she definitely did not learn it from the reality tv star. was lowkey annoyed when kourtney claimed to have created that method of eating kitkats, but what is she going to do? sue her? yeah, no-- too much effort. 

she also eats anything that contains wafters the same way. by dividing them into the individual sheets/pieces and eating them one by one. it makes her feel like she’s eating more food because it takes longer to finish, but she does know, deep down, that it’s the same amount. 

 💃- for a talent that they like to keep hidden from others 

can solve a rubik’s cube pretty quickly. definitely not at world record speed, but her personal best currently is one minute and thirty seconds. hasn’t been able to do that since and because she no longer tries to solve them, she’s probably gotten worse at it.

the library is not usually jongin’s scene, it’s not often the place in which he displays the chaotic festering that is his twisted existence, but every once in a blue moon, he does find himself coming in here in search of a specific book in order to pass a subject. there’s only one class he gives enough of a shit about to really study hard for most of the time, but here at the end of the semester, the pressure is high, the tension is thick, and no one really wants to hang out to blow off steam until after the torture has ended. too many other students at this school care enough about their grades that it makes jongin feel the need to care about his own through osmosis, and boredom. or at least, that’s what he tells himself.

he glides through the aisles slowly, pacing himself before getting there because he knows this is going to be a long afternoon and he’s not looking forward to it. usually he’d just study in his apartment, with his cat and his headphones, but it’s extremely hot outside and he doesn’t feel like making the trek across the quad just for some mildly better air-conditioned seating. he finds the correct table he wants to sit at, closer to the back of the library, away from the larger groupings of sweaty, worried students, and collapses down into a chair, swinging the backpack off his shoulder and opening it up to pour his books out. he receives some glares and shushing, but pays them no mind.

junhyung has the habit of tying his hair into the apple hairstyle when he is working on his film assignments because it somehow, strangely, helps him think a lot better. it’s almost as if the little apple stalk up there can absorb ideas, sending them directly to his brain after. it might have started out as a coincidence one day but now, he makes it a point to don that hairstyle whenever he’s at work. most people don’t know about this because he prefers working alone in his own room, with the exception of baekso, whom he always turns to for help with his film assignments. 

for a talent that they like to keep hidden from others

believe it or not, junhyung is actually really good at braiding hair. the only person who knows about this secret talent of his is none other than the only person whose hair he has ever braided — danbi. growing up with her meant he got to dabble with a lot of traditionally “girlier” activities and somehow, he learnt to braid her hair along the way. he used to braid her hair a lot when they were kids and mind you, it wasn’t just a loosely put together braid but a pretty neat one, if he were to say so himself. fun fact: he can even do a french braid and is rather good at it too — just ask danbi if you don’t believe it!

📔 - for a secret sketchbook they keep (bonus: share a sketch or doodle within it!)

“i can’t draw for the life of me, so i don’t have a sketchbook. i thought about going into fashion! but once i realized that you actually have to draw out your designs, i gave up with a quickness. plus, i’m not that creative, which probably comes as a shock to most.” a couple of beats of silence pass before she cups her hands around her mouth, leaning closer while she whispers, “that was saaarcasm!”

“i don’t know, i’m kind of a little intimidated by you? not in a ‘holy crap she’d probably push me down the stairs’ kind of way, but more of a ‘holy crap am i even worthy enough to be in her presence’? it feels stupid to ask ‘teach me how to be as confident as you’ since that’s kind of something that can’t be taught, but ...” her lips pull into a pout before she continues, “it’s something i admire you for. i want to get close to you! or maybe party with you since that’s easier. maybe i’ll actually have a chance at that now that i moved up to cheer captain.”
