This is Darmi. She’s mute and can communicate with both sign language and psychically with her magic, but only uses the latter if she trusts you. She was adopted by her aunt and her wife at a young age, when her mother was murdered and her father went missing. Despite it all, she’s a happy woman, and loves magic.
This is Ruka. She can be a crankypants like in this picture, but is usually quite happy-go-lucky and flirty. She loves people very much, and is happiest when surrounded by them, especially people she adores and is loyal to. She grew up in the mountains in a communal family, and has travelled the continent to learn more about her magic than anyone else in her family.
This is Kakeru. He has an interesting past, but I’m not gonna spoil it. He’s cheerful and silly, and loves to tease and fluster people. He can be kind of an ass, but when it comes down to it, will kick anyone else in the nose if his friends are threatened. He also has fucking fantastic hair.
This is Kiya. She’s an ex-priest who ran away to learn how to use battle magic. She’s shy and introverted, but has a lot of love within her and just wants to be happy and safe. She also has an interesting past that I won’t spoil just yet. She’s also very, very gay.
This is Johayne (who for some reason I’ve not drawn a coloured version of him. Oh well.). He’s a sweetheart with a love of both magic and technology, and is forever trying to make the two work together in order to grow with the ever-changing world around him. He’s very laid-back and hard to ruffle, but if you actually manage to, he’s a force to be reckoned with. (I’ll try to make a colour picture of him in the near future.)
