It is traditionally known and understood that Percy, as Head Boy, often takes the bath right at the beginning of Sunday evening curfew. There’s a long week ahead. He’s shouldered a significant amount of baggage throughout the entire week, even just trying to keep the students convinced that, no, none of them are going to be murdered terribly by Black as long as they behave and actually follow curfew. No one intrudes until an hour past curfew beginning - because they respect his space.

Which is why it’s strange that the moment Percy has slipped beneath the nearly scalding, bubbly water, only eight minutes after curfew, the door suddenly opens.

Percy stiffens, peeking up over the veritable tower of bubbles. Oh, how he regrets indulging himself in those tonight. He parts them so he can see the intruder better, then shoots out his hand to summon his wand with one hand.

And then there’s…Flint. Flint. Who absolutely does not belong here for another hour.
