And that’s does go to show that for all D’s knowledge of vampires and the supernatural in general, he’s not infallible and his knowledge is not absolute

His expertise is on vampires, he knows how ghouling yourself is a slippery slope even if it will give you an advantage in a fight against vampires, as D puts it “you lose too much of yourself to the vitae”,

But he can’t see how allying with the wyrm will lead him and his family down a similar path to the one he feared Marcus would tread because he doesn’t truly KNOW the wyrm,

And it’s fully understandable why he’s making this decision, in all honesty I can’t blame him for making this choice to get Markus back, the garou fucked up as well here but screwing themselves over seems to be a garou tradition at this point.

So as most of us know chapter 5.1 “plane police work” has introduced us to three new villains, those being Blair, Ross, and Palmer.

I think it’s safe to assume somewhere down the line all of these villains are going to die much like the sabbat pack before them, the question is how?

Pyoter having the final blow done by boy fit incredibly well thematically, the sabbat member who most strongly followed the “the strong eat the weak” social Darwinism of the sabbat to the point of literally eating his other packmates is killed by the weakest member of the GGG,

So thematically who would fit to kill the new pentex possie?

For blair, I can’t help but think guy killing her could work, I think Blair is most likely a pentex first team soldier clearly hopped up on dangerous amounts of stimulants. So both of them are murdering psychos on the leash of much bigger entities, but perhaps much like Kevin breaking from the shackles of his unlife guy will move towards more freedom and independence while Clair dies a stooge.

As for Palmer I can’t as easily say, Marcus comes to mind but only because both are theorized to be mages although I don’t personally subscribe to either theory. Or maybe Kevin? Vampire wizard vs corpo wizard?
