the concept of it being kind of consensual for marc bc he is the one giving up his body while technically pedro is ripping the benefits but his reality is also slipping and did he know what would happen? like for sure, or subconsciously? did he think he could get away with this? a teeny tiny bit of guilt sparked in there even if he was so willing to fester in marc's body at the beginning and now it's the only thing of himself he has left bc when he is pushing until he breaks to win, can you even tell who or what he is anymore? marc low-key getting his dream of his own feeling flesh and bone not being able to slow him down lol

Omg yes. Like the team asks, because atp it's PAINFULLY obvious that something is going on, and all they get is closed fists and gritted teeth. The psychological horror pedro would go through here...i wonder if he'd regret it. He has everything he wants now; a fast factory bike, a team that puts him first and Marc at his mercy. Except is he really? The first time that he wins, he wants it to be untained by anything, but then it doesn't even feel like his own. He closes his eyes and he sees memories that do not belong to him. Marc...he's happy. His mortal flesh isn't binding him anymore; he's free. This new vessel is more than perfect for him.

And you're absolutely right. Marc would get a kick from this omg. Like they're talking about pedro like he's part of a prophecy to end Marc's reign of terror, and the fact that marc can have pedro on his knees begging for blood....the rush is intense. It feels like some fucked up circle of life, and neither marc or pedro are willing to break it. They're good exactly where they are, even though their flesh is fusing as is their minds...slowly losing sanity....

OH WAIT NO THAT'S INSANE ANGST I LOVE IT! Marc having such a complex relationship with his body already, to the point where he sees it as an almost useless working piece of machinery. It still works, but not for long...so when pedro asks him to give himself up like pedro himself did? He doesn't understand. His body has nothing to give; he's flesh and metal rotting together in a poor imitation of a living dead man. Marc has dug his own fingers in his scars and tasted his own flesh; it's not good. Not anymore. What could Pedro even want from him? But Pedro doesn't care; he sees Marc and he wants to conquer. To him, that charred skin is like ambrosia. He can't believe he sees more worth in Marc than Marc does in himself...
