It’s been almost a year since I’ve last written here, but as I finish up my Dulcedomum app and details... it also made me think of other characters that I had thought that Annie and the Harts might know in that universe. It also helped me think about characters outside of that universe, too. 

So here’s a relaunch post regarding tattoos. 

Annie: Annie’s only tattoos are her pact marks. So they’re not actual tattoos, but I thought that they would count. For now, she has 3 yellow dots under each eye. Thinking into the future and how I might set her up for a pact with an Earth spirit as her 2nd, her next tattoo may be somewhere on her torso. They’d be shaped like fangs or a shark bite along her shoulder or her stomach. LAB (Little Ankle Biter) is shaping up to be a 

Mint: She has 4 tattoos. Stars on both sides of her neck, an elephant on the side and under her ribs, and a crosshairs over her chest. That last one she got after a very bad breakup when she was in her late teens and it brings up memories of Bon Jovi’s “Shot Through the Heart.” 

Marcos:  Who would be a Praetor and comes from a long line of Praetors who have met an untimely end, has either the full Psalm 23:4 or just “Psalm 23:4″ tattooed somewhere on his body. It might be over his heart or on his bicep. I think his parents were religious. If/ when he gets married, he’d also be the type to have a blank band tattooed to his finger.

all of my Dulce NPCs will be Latin@ 

and have some connection to some horrid part of Latin American history

The first was Marcos who actually doesn't have much of a connection but he's part Latino anyway... my Floridian.  He's also a tough looking guy who is stupidly adorable hobbies like whittling. He's also pretty shy but it translates to a lot of >8I Grrr faces. 

The second was Mona, who I have since scrapped

The third was Milagros "Mila" who is a Wind Wizard. Not sure if she comes across her spirit when the Kouto-a happened or when she finds herself taken down river after failing to cross a river into the neighboring country of her homeland. 

The fourth is Diego who is part Mayan... may or may not look like a Greaser (still drawing him out). His looking like he's part of the Greaser subculture is actually a play on another take on the term "greaser", which was used in a derogatory way. Since Diego's the newest, along with another who I can't talk much about because they're for the surprise shipping meme, here's some "fun" facts about him: 

Earth Wizard who did not know he came from a wizard background.

Only came across his spirit Ki'i'ik (meaning blood in Yucatec Maya) when he was near death. His courtship with a woman was not approved and as such he was punished for it. He was tied to the back of a horse, dragged, and left to die. It was quite a surprise he lived even to Ki'i'ik who, despite its ominous name, isn't too bad a spirit. 

His other spirits have Mayan names: Xic (Wind), Baak (Water), Pakal (Light)

Oi! >8’D So much… LOVE IT… here we go! Also! I have Francis with 35-45 because, for some reason, I read Francis as Marcos. Haha. Just a bonus treat, I guess. 

Esperanza Guerrero del Rosario: 

5:How old is your OC? In most universes, she’s in her mid-to-late teens. 16-18. 

10:What is your OCs favorite outfit?Favorite outfit she owns consists of a nice pair of black sneakers, dark wash jeans, a black t-shirt, and a red jacket that her mom made her with an embroidered bulls skull on the back. 

15:What makes your OC angry?When people consider her to be weak because she is a cautious person on her hunts. Although she’s the youngest of her hunting party, she’s definitely the one who will pause to think things through. 

20:What’s your OCs favorite kind of pizza?Buffalo chicken pizza. 

25:What time of year does your OC prefer?Spring because the weather is nice enough to stake out for a couple hours outside without getting really hot or cold. 

30:What does your OC choose to do about the, er, hair down there?Shaves. 

35:How flexible is your OC?She’s pretty flexible, not a gymnast, but her hunter training made sure she was flexible. 

40:What is the craziest thing your OC has done?The demon that possessed her was driving to the location where her other four fellow demon hunters were waiting for her. Knowing what the demon planned to do once they reached the meet up site, she had enough control of her body to increase speed and flip over the car that she was driving. She survived, but was incredibly injured and had about a year’s recovery. The incident incapacitated her possessor and her friends were later able to exorcise it. 

45:Does your OC like reading?Yes. She likes a lot of teen novels. 

50:Does your OC cry easily?No. 

55:What gender is your OC?Female. 

60:Does your OC enjoy nature?She does. The days when her group gets to camp are her favorite. Other than Benjamin, she’s one of the first to complain if something they’re doing is going to harm the environment. 

Anastasia Hart: 

5:How old is your OC?Depending on the universe, she can be any age from 16-35 (sometimes, older if she’s undead). In Dulcedomum, she’s 23. 

6:Does your OC have any supernatural powers?She’s able to produce some concentrated light beams as an offensive spell. 

7:Is your OC in a relationship?I’m going to assume this means romantic relationship. She was briefly engaged a few years ago, had a couple of boyfriends when living in California, but currently she hasn’t met anyone she’s interested in having a romantic relationship with. That has the possibility of changing. 

8:What are some of your OCs strengths?She’s strong-willed, persistent, and a hard worker. 

9:What are some of your OCs weaknesses?While she’s not quick to anger, she is prone to violence. She can also be bossy or overbearing to those she cares about. 

10:What is your OCs favorite outfit?She has a pair of cowboy boots in distressed bone with studs, mauve, brown and white embroidery, and rose overlays in gold.  They are seriously a pair of boots that could be an outfit in itself. She also has a pair of dusty pink pants and a flowing white blouse she likes to wear with them. 

11:What is your OCs spirit animal?Haha. 8’D I guess that would be Aileen right? Don’t really like the term “spirit animal”, but I often associate her with the prairie dog and the manatee. Despite this, if she were a spirit/ patron I think she’d be some sort of earth rabbit or a water manatee. 

12:Is your OC sexually active?She has been, but not since arriving to Dulcedomum.

13:What is your OCs earliest memory?Learning to ride a horse and falling off her first time. 

14:Does your OC have a cell phone? If so, what kind?She did, but because of house rules she doesn’t have one at the moment. Now that she has a Communication Mirror, it’s ok with her that she doesn’t have one. 

15:What makes your OC angry?Knights. Shadow spirits, too, but she’s also really interested in what forms they take.

35:How flexible is your OC?Average flexibility for a big, bulky dude. 

36:What turns your OC on?Working out with whoever he’s romantically or sexually attracted to, nothing like a good work out and seeing muscles flex. Taking showers with that person. He likes being bitten and someone who will try and dominate him. 

37:What was your OCs first word?Papa. 

38:Does your OC have any pets?In some universes, he has a cat or a dog, but when I think about him for Dulce, he has a very small, feminine fairy looking Earth patron.

 39:Who is your OCs biggest enemy?In some universes, it’s the organization that turned him into a cyborg, in others it’s Jyotsna who he has a love-hate relationship with, in others it’s monsters that he either hunts as a demon hunter or helps protect wizards against (that is if he becomes my NPC).Can you tell that I’ve used Marcos for a LOT of different worlds? 

40:What is the craziest thing your OC has done?Again, this depends on the universe.Joining in a rebellion against the organization that made him a cyborg is one. Starting a romantic relationship with Jyotsna is another. Nearly going to hell because he didn’t want to get them involved with his plans in taking down a witch. Benjamin left for a couple of months after that, which really hurt because the two, in that universe, have some romantic attraction. He has several scars on his back from when he protected his wizard with his own body when there weren’t any other options left for protection. 

41:What is your OCs motto about life?“Fuck it." 

42:Does your OC drink coffee or tea?He likes coffee, but Esperanza also got him into some fruity teas that he likes. 

43:Who is your OCs biggest hero?He usually doesn’t have a hero. He has people he admires but not in "hero” status. If used for an NPC, it would be his and Ayawa’s and their other sibling’s adopted parents. Their parents, man, I love the thought of them. His parents would be guardians who adopted some children of their fellow fallen guardians and who also use their light powers in aiding those with mental, emotional, or physical illness. His parents are very much healers, at least, Momma Blythe while Momma Celia is much more the muscle. 

44:What color eyes does your OC have?Light brown. 

45:Does your OC like reading?He’s not a big reader in any universe, but usually because he has little time to do so or it’s not his first priority. He enjoys it, usually choosing a newspaper. Genre wise he likes horror stories, but usually it’s Esperanza’s or Ayawa’s (again depending on the universe) teen novels that are around when he feels like reading.

35:How flexible is your OC?Pretty flexible. 

36:What turns your OC on?A nice smile and laugh. Kisses to the neck area. He appreciates nice lingerie sported by the person he already has a romantic or sexual relationship with, especially if they have an ass. 

37:What was your OCs first word?Ma’. That later turned to be Mama. 

38:Does your OC have any pets?When he was younger, he didn’t have any pets because running away from monsters made it hard to take care of one. After his mother settled down with her new husband, they still didn’t have any pets. It wasn’t until Renee got her puppy that the Thames household got their first pet. 

39:Who is your OCs biggest enemy?Any monsters trying to kill him. 

40:What is the craziest thing your OC has done?Too many to count. I think jumping from a cliff into the ocean at a height that would normally kill someone could be at least ONE of the craziest. He thought he could get away with it because he’s a son of Poseidon, and he was right because he survived. This would be when he’s older. 

41:What is your OCs motto about life?“Keep on swimming”. Haha, but seriously any motto that means keep going forward even when things are uncertain. 

42:Does your OC drink coffee or tea?Both. He prefers coffee though.
