In honor of Marco’s birthday coming up, we felt it was appropriate to host an ‘appreciation week’ to showcase the love, support, appreciation and admiration we hold for him. And there’s truly no better time than to host this appreciation celebration on his birthday week. Therefore, we invite and encourage any and all blogs to participate in posting Marco related content during this time.

Each day will have it’s own theme that some of you nicely helped pick out, that way all posts and creations can stay organized by it’s daily theme. And it’ll also give you a topic to center your posts on! The themes for each day are as follows..

Day 1 Thursday, May 25th will be career day. This theme will center on Marco’s football career which means you can post anything relating to his profession. Some ideas could be a text post/gifset reflecting on his career growth, an infographic on his past/present clubs, a gifset/edit of your favorite of Marco’s clubs, a photoset with pictures of your favorite moments of his career, a moodboard that reflects his connection to football or a playlist with songs you associate to his clubs or career.

Day 2 Friday, May 26th will be goal celebrations day. This theme will center on Marco’s goal celebrations which means you can post anything relating to how he celebrates after scoring. You have the choice to post about one or many. Some ideas could be a gifset of your favorite celebration, a graphic of your favorite or a photoset with pictures of his celebrations.

Day 3 Saturday, May 27th will be bromances day. This theme will center on Marco’s relationships with his teammates which means you can post anything relating to his friendships or ships. Once again you have the choice to post about one or many. Some ideas could be a gifset of your favorite bromance moments, a gifset introducing Marco’s ships, an edit/graphic, a photoset of pictures with your pick or a playlist with songs you associate towards a certain ship.

Day 4 Sunday, May 28th will be social media day. This theme will center on Marco on social media which means you can post anything relating to his twitter, instagram, facebook, website etc. Some ideas could be an infographic about his profile statistics, a photoset of your favorite tweets/instagram posts he’s posted or a gifset of any videos that have been shared by him or his teammates through social media.

Day 5 Monday, May 29th will be style day. This theme will center on Marco’s personal style which means you can post anything relating to his fashion sense. Some ideas could be an infographic on his style essentials, a photoset/gifset of your favorite outfits or a graphic relating to his style.

Day 6 Tuesday, May 30th will be personality day. This theme will center on Marco’s personality which means you can post anything that you feel reflects who he is as a person. Some ideas could be a gifset of moments that showcase his personal traits, a photoset that reflects his personality, a text post on how you’d describe him to be or an infographic/edit on who he is based on what we’ve gotten to know.

Day 7 Wednesday, May 31st will be birthday freebie day. This theme will center on Marco’s birthday which means you can post anything relating to wishing him a happy birthday. You’re free to pick what you want your posts to be about. Some ideas could be a gifset with a birthday wish, a graphic/edit with birthday elements, a text post with a personalized birthday message or a playlist of birthday songs you’d dedicate to him.

The tag we’ll be using for this event is #mrappreciationweek so tagging your posts under this tag will assure that our co-host @marcoreussource will be able to access and reblog your creations. This will also allow all content posted on this week to be grouped together and shared across even more. And be sure to check out the tag during this week if you can to support everyone else’s creations!

The appreciation week will start 20 days from now and there is no limit as to how many posts you can share. If you can’t post on all days, it’s completely okay. We just want this week to be all about showcasing appreciation for Marco while giving everyone the chance to be creative and bond with others through this mutual interest.

Lastly, you don’t have to be a Marco or BVB/DFB related blog to join and you can base all of your creations on any of his past or present clubs, it’s completely up to you.
