On this day in 1958, Marc Moreland was born! 🍾🎉
Marc was most known for his unique and twangy Spaghetti Western-inspired guitar playing, but let us not forget that he also contributed a ton to songwriting, composition, and, occasionally, vocals throughout all of Wall Of Voodoo’s discography. His talent was a huge part of what made the group so memorable.
Other acts that Marc was involved in included playing in ‘70s punk group The Skulls, Nervous Gender in the ‘80s, and his own Pretty & Twisted with Johnette Napolitano, Department of Crooks, and Ensenada Joyride in the ‘90s.
Today, us fans of Wall Of Voodoo dedicate this day to him. Happy birthday, Marc!
spelling Marc Moreland’s name as ‘Mark’ I can forgive, but…..
“Mark Moorland”?????
now that’s crossing the line.
