Ryker: where the fuck are you?

   This certainly wasn't the first time Violet was found behind the stove, there had been multiple occasions in which she had randomly decided to stir up some dinner for her boyfriend and surprise him as he waltzed through the door. Though it seemed as if this time around she hadn't heard Mason slip in, continuing to hum to herself and jump in place as a set of arms circled around her waist. The comforting embrace was more than recognizable, thus the reason why she leaned into her boyfriend and sighed to herself as she kept her focus on the boiling pasta in front of her. However, she had taken note of Mason whisking the hair off her shoulder and placing a subtle kiss behind her ear in order to showcase his affection. A melodious giggle slipped from her now parted lips as she turned her focus away from the stove and flipped her body over to face the boy. "I've missed you." Violet commented bluntly, shifting herself over to lean against the counter and beckoning him forward. "C'mere babe."

"Y-You look sad...Why do you look sad?"

   Plopping down in the booth to her right, Violet allowed her eyes to litter the surface of the table as memories flooded through her mind at the setting. She was completely aware of as to why she chose this diner of all the potential ones in the city, and why this booth was as such significance as opposed to all of the other ones in the restaurant. She missed him, but she couldn't bring herself to admit such a thing aloud. After breaking up with him, she'd found herself in a downward spiral of an extremely threatening relationship — one she was sentenced to be tangled in for the rest of her life. That thought scared her, knowing that with a ring on her finger there was nobody that could save her from the tragic life she was living. Though being here had allowed her to escape all those dreadful thoughts, to reminisce in times that she'd once enjoyed living life and collecting all of the thoughts and memories of bliss that she possibly could before she was forced to sneak back into bed with her fiance. Such thoughts had left her so drowned, that she hadn't even noticed the presence of a certain individual entering the diner.
