* Ella was taking a jog around town when she noticed Marcel on the opposite side of the road. Before, she would have kept running in a bid to avoid him but after Halloween and how he helped her, she couldn’t walk away. She managed to cross the road in time to catch him. “Hey.” She said with a little bit of her catching her breath. “I just wanted to say thanks for the other night. You didn’t have to do that and I really appreciated that you did. I don’t know what would have happened if...” She let the words trail off to leave it to both their imaginations.

* Ella sat at the bar and nursing her drink. She was having a quiet time when she noticed someone. Someone she hadn’t seen since she was in New Orleans. He’d come in to the bar quite a bit and more so when Sophie Devereaux had been causing problems for the vampires in the French Quarter. She had been good in New Orleans. She hadn’t caused any trouble (probably more help from Tomas than she’d like to admit) but it did concern her that Marcel was here now. At that point she knew she had been staring for way too long that it would be more than noticeable. Her eyes caught on to his and quickly averted away to her drink in a bid to avoid this. She hoped he didn’t remember her.
