So Some have a few maqams built in honour due to Khalwa (seclusion) that did at places or being at a place for 40 days. a good example would be Mihrab of Maryam in Quran meaning the small room she did her dhikr. Some make a Dua for a place and say this place is my Maqam so come here, and make Dua or visit it, as its like visiting me. 4. Sometimes bodies even move to Madina Shareef too.
