âfuck!â he cursed again as he threw himself down a side alley, a gunshot ringing through the air as people began screaming. He had no idea if it was one of his people or the police but he had no mind to find out. Not when he saw that heâd ended up running down a blind alley that could only end in a dead end. Looking around as he bolted, he spied a door that looked inconspicuous enough and ran over, shooting open the lock like it was a god damn video game (thank god it wasnât a padlock) and running inside, praying heâd get enough of a head start that heâd be able to evade the police.
He wasnât counting on encountering another human. Thats always an issue.
