Exerpt from: Nickolay Lamm: What will Sea Level Rise Look Like? (West Coast Edition) (2013)
Mapping sea level rise is a pretty neat subgenre of mapping/spatial analysis, if you ever want to dig into it. These not-quite-map visualizations are my favorite so far, though. Normal maps abstract sea level rise into just an assortment of blue lines. Seeing the change on the ground is so much better, or least more effective polemically.
