@manystagesofmal liked for a starter with Lee Smith

The Endurafex trial started this week, and Lee has been giving injections left and right ever since Monday. It's Friday now, and the receptionist has left for her lunch break, leaving him with both of their duties for the next hour.

Thankfully, there are only two appointments scheduled during that time period. One has already come and gone, and Lee has almost finished cleaning the patient room for the second appointment, who should, in theory, be arriving in the next few minutes.

Ding! The front desk's bell rings just as Lee tucks the broom inside the attached janitor's closet. The timing couldn't be more perfect. He finds a small pleasure in that. After adjusting his jacket to make sure it's on as straight as it can be, as well as combing a hand through his hair, Lee steps out into the main office, where he's greeted by the form of a young woman.

"Good afternoon. You must be Mallory."

Pierrot is sitting alone on a stool at the counter of a coffee shop, slowly but happily kicking his legs back and forth while he has his elbows on the bar top so he can hold his face in both hands.

No one else is sitting near him; in fact, some of the other patrons are giving him the stink eye from their own seats and tables. Some of those are muttering amongst themselves, talking about how freaky the clown guy at the counter looks.

Pierrot isn't paying them any mind. Instead, he stays where he is, smile wide and eyes narrowed into arched slits of contentment as he occasionally sips from the pink and brown milkshake in front of him.
