“Eth, stop,” she said, all giggly as she ‘tried’ to move away from his hand. But he’d somehow trapped her beneath him, and there was nowhere else to go except right against the couch’s armrest. “I’m not doing anything, I promise!” It wasn’t completely true, though, as she was planning on surprising him on the full moon with something sexy.

“You’re a good boy, aren’t you?”

She nodded, tilting her head up to meet his gaze. “Yes, Master. Just you. Only you.” The way Quinn spoke made her seem like she was proud to be owned by an ancient dragon, and it was because she was. “What does my Master want from me today?”

“I never expected you to return my love, my lord. A god and a mortal never seemed to find happiness with each other.” Still, she was happy that he had bothered to come find her after she had been taken from his home, although she wondered if he had done anything to the people who had ‘rescued’ her.

Seeing the dagger in his hand, she couldn’t help but laugh. “I have no need for manmade weapons, my love. You know what I can do with my magic.” Not to mention her feminine wiles, but ever since she chose to go with him, she hadn’t had to use those.

The loud roar and the flapping of wings didn’t make her flinch. She had seen this form of his before, though she waited until he had transformed to his more ‘manageable’ one. The hem of her dress trailed behind her as she approached him, smiling, and she bowed her head once in deference. “My lord. Has the information I provided proven useful in searching for the witches who condemned you?”
