Matthieu used to be something of a local legend where he used live. After he lost his arm, he honed his skill with fighting with one hand or with a rudimentary prosthetic, which he picked up quickly. He soon got a job as a mercenary for hire in the area, talk of a one armed man with a dark and deadly background who for the right price could make anyone you want disappear.

In his defense, though, the majority of gunshot wounds you don’t feel until you actually realize you’ve been shot. Speaking from experience, meself.

falls asleep on the couch: Xander and Eugene. Evette takes up the arm chair or she’ll pile herself on top of them.

makes friends with the neighbors: Evette mostly, but if the guys are outside they’ll be right there with her greeting the neighbors.

is the adventurous eater: Eugene. Hands down, no questions about it.

hogs the covers at night: Evette. She’s absolutely terrible about it, that’s why she is the one to sleep in the middle. It’s difficult to burrito herself with all the blankets when she’s tangled in a mass of spindly limbs.

forgets to do the dishes: Xander. He hates doing them. He’s the one that will do anything to get out of dish duty.

tries to surprise their partner more often: Eugene because he loves giving little gifts to Xander and Evette for no reason other than he saw the object and thought of the others.

leaves dirty laundry on the floor: (We’ve actually talked about this one already LOL) All three are pretty good about keeping dirty laundry off the floor. They have different laundry schedules where Evette does hers the most often, Eugene does his about once or so week, Xander—Mr. Nude Birdy over here—only does his about every week and a half.

stays up til 2 AM reading: Evette, especially during the summer when she has difficulties staying asleep.

sings in the shower: The boys and both sing much louder than they think they do. It makes Evette laugh in the next room.

takes the selfies: Evette, especially when her boys are within reach or her chickens are around.
